Heat Transfer Oil
Viscosity Grade AW 32

General Characteristics

Atlas HEAT TRANSFER OIL is blended carefully with selective base stocks having good thermal stability and superior additive package to prevent catalytic thermal breakdown in service. They have good heat transfer efficiency with better resistance to thermal cracking and chemical oxidation. They have high specific heat and good thermal conductivity providing more rapid heating & greater system flexibility.

Applications

Atlas Industrial Gear Oils are suitable for all types of enclosed gear drives with circulating or splash lubrication systems. They are particularly recommended for gear sets working under heavy or shock load conditions at high temperatures. All the grades are in accordance with the leading gearbox manufacturers and AGMA specification. Heat transfer circuits from 0 to 310°C without air contact. Heat Transfer is recommended for heat transfer installations using thermal fluid circulation, in open and closed circuits. They are suitable for heating and temperature control in all industries, and particularly for the following manufacturing processes: steam production, paper Industry, timber Industry, textile Industry, oil & gas. ATLAS HEAT TRANSFER OIL provides the following benefits:
  • Extremely long service life without deposit formation or viscosity increases.

  • Low temperature flow characteristics at start-up.
  • High heat transfer rate.
  • Protection against corrosion.
  • ISO 6743-12 L-QB

  • DIN 51522 – class Q
